They are all already using the small robotic vehicles and were trained again in order to be up to date for their pupils. Dr Sergej Stötzer from MakeBlock conducted the training with around 20 teachers, who started the first programming sessions after assembling the robots. They had the little robots drive along a black line, recognise obstacles and come to a stop in the right places.
This training is seen as preparation for the further introduction of mBots into the school curriculum, whether in technology or computer science lessons, or in the afternoon club area. The mBot is an important approach for project-orientated learning, which is increasingly finding its way into schools.
In summer 2024, the pupils will then compete against each other in a competition to prove their skills. The Technical Education Centre in Harsewinkel will be in charge of organising this competition and will thus arouse curiosity about technology and its possibilities.
