University of natural Sciences of Poznan in Poland

The CLAAS Foundation has got a new partner university: The University of natural Sciences of Poznan in Poland. This partnership entails a funding of of 25.000 Euros to be used for the modernization of the technical facilities. Principally, the funds are going to be invested in modern testing equipment for measuring soil compaction and allocation accuracy when carrying out plant protection. Beginning of December Dr. Michael Quinckhardt (Director of CLAAS Agrosystems) and Uwe Lütkeschümer (Director of the CLAAS Foundation) travelled to Poznan to officially inaugurate the new partnership with the principal of the university, Prof Dr. Grzegorz Skrzypczak.

“Europe grows. This gives us ideal opportunities to start new partnerships. Your university as well as the CLAAS Foundation pursue the same goal which is to get young people interested into natural sciences and engineering and to consequently support them“, Uwe Lütkeschümer commented. A good partnership requires more than a financial budget. To build a long lasting partnership the university is going to be participate in the CLAAS Foundation‘s projects and measures.
