The CLAAS Foundation awards two scholarships per year to students of the University of Wageningen (WUR) in the Netherlands. The University of Wageningen is the most significant university in the Netherlands turning to agricultural engineering and enjoys an outstanding reputation for its first class Bachelor- and Master courses. Students may apply by writing an essay in addition to their bachelor thesis where they place their own topic of their project in a European context. The selection process is handled by the University of Wageningen and assessed by an independent Jury. The Jury is nominated in close association between Wageningen University and the CLAAS Foundation.
The CLAAS Foundation is happy to award the first Dutch Prize to Jerke de Vries. If you want to know more about Agricultural Engineering at Wageningen, please click here: http://www.wageningenuniversiteit.nl/UK/
