The CLAAS Foundation awarded prizes to nine young talents of agricultural engineering at the CLAAS Technoparc in Harsewinkel. The young prize winners presented their projects in brief presentations.

Germany is in need of more children with a sincere interest in technical matters and natural sciences. The CLAAS Foundation shares this opinion. To make children see the fun in technical matters at an early age, the non-profit Foundation repeats an initiative at kindergartens and primary schools- this time it is Gütersloh.

The CLAAS Foundation awarded four scholarships and four bonus prizes to gifted students from the agricultural sector. The awards of the Helmut Claas-Scholarship support young students during their university career. The awarded prize winners got the certificates presented by Helmut Claas himself.

To encourage talents in an early stadium is one of the aims of the CLAAS foundation. With a project in cooperation with the private institution of learning “Science-Lab” the foundation wants to awaken the enthusiasm for natural science already in the kindergarten and the primary schools.

The CLAAS Foundation awarded eight promising young students in the field of agricultural engineering with scholarships and bonus prizes at the Technoparc of the CLAAS headquarters in Harsewinkel (Germany) where the award ceremony was held. The prizewinners illustrated their research projects by way of short presentations. This year, the CLAAS Foundation also celebrated its 10th birthday.
