Before the official award presentation the guests visited the CLAAS factory in Harsewinkel.

 The ceremony took place in the Technoparc‘s auditorium.

Sylvia Looks, director of the CLAAS Foundation, hosted the event.

Dr. Hermann Garbers, member of the Board of Trustees, gave an overview of the Foundation‘s current activities.

Prof. Vladimir Rataj, University of Nitra/Slowakia, reports on running projects. The University of Nitra is the CLAAS Foundation‘s Partner University 2010.

Prof. Peter Wagner, University of Halle, gave a report on a precision farming research project.

The nominated prize winner briefly presented their projects. For example Mirjam Kleinknecht…

 … and Philipp Wilde von Wildemann.

The Board of Trustees and the jury were attentive listeners and generous with applause.

Peter van Beveren and Teus van Laar received the Wageningen University CLAAS Foundation Prize.

Prof. Stefan Böttinger introduced the bonus prize winners: (from left) Alexey Sergeevich Mozerov, Sergey Nikolaevich Buldiaev, Martin Ilgenfritz, Kai Christoph Anke and Florian Schramm.

Since Markus Kubach was away in Canada, his parents and Prof. Oliver Hensel accepted the fourth prize of the Helmut Claas-Scholarship on his behalf.

Matthew Wold had travelled far from the USA to Harsewinkel and was rewarded with the third prize.

Helmut Claas handed out a special certificate to Dr. Peter Wacker, University of Hohenheim, awarding his special engagement in promoting the CLAAS Foundation at Hohenheim.

The first prize of the Helmut Claas-Scholarship went to Mirjam Kleinknecht…

 … and Philipp Wilde von Wildemann.

Alexey Sergeevich Mozerov did a test drive on the AXION.

And Philipp Wilde von Wildemann took a seat in the XERION‘S cabin.
